Thanks for the reply guys. That EZ card that NewEgg have is exactly the same as the one I have, apart from the word Pro isn’t where it should be. It would also be helpful if I could print out this thread with a few replies, so that I could show the sales person what you guys think. Of course ATI does have their own cards still, but they don’t even manufacture them anymore. They weren’t having any of it when I was telling them it was a slower version, so I couldn’t resist but reach for the printouts. Well actually it is the company that owns Sapphire, but Sapphire is the only graphics card fabrication plant they own. As for the RAM, that’s one of those little tricks that they play.

That is one reason why I like NewEgg. Now the problem is that PowerColor has joined in with a few others and have created card like this that are named VERY suspitiously. Inglo, Dec 14, Phoenix AG, Dec 15, It was r96-c3b ment to hit the retail market and ATI scrambled to add the LE to the card to prevent the situation from getting worse. Well, good news is they took the card back. I’ll take it back and see if I can swap it.

Have we been ripped off? So that’s why there is an EZ sticker on the box Disabling and it didn’t crash. I checked in the BIOS but the option was greyed out, but his girlfriends dad managed to sort it so I’m quite a bit happier now.
Good job I spotted the difference. Have I been atk off, or is the card I got a real Pro? Your card is a Pro.

I’m not sure if it really makes too much of a difference anyway. There is a sticker on the bottom left hand corner of the box which says “Pro” but I thought that was a bit weird.

Yeah, I was actually suprised at how much it did look like a when you pointed it out to me Martin. Another scupulous thing is the 64 bit memory bus on some cards.
