Posted June 24, First of all, I’d like to thank the original poster, Lkr, for the thorough and useful guide. The difference was the Belkin version found my network whereas the Ralink one said “No Device”. I will post all of the commands, so it won’t be too difficult. Thank You for the help, however, the device does not show up in Apple System Profiler.. If the original discoverer Kramer has any problem with me posting this, just say so, and I will remove it. But still I can’t get connected to the internet, what am I doing wrong?

Yeah, sorry, I just found today during a re-install on a different drive, that it was actually a combination of the RT, Replug and RT71W drivers, liksys with the fixes above that made it work.

Linksys WUSB54G USB adapter and | Mac Support
DeltaMac Tech Dec 9, I followed all the steps and it worked for me, the only issue I’ve got is that the USB Utility doesn’t work at all. Ya it’s not for Is there anything I should do?
I got everything down and did it to a tee however the unit doesnt light up or anything. I will post all of the commands, so it won’t be too difficult. The initial discovery was not found by me. If you are using If you have no internet, but are connected to your internet, go to Network under System Preferences and it should say New Ethernet Device Found or something along those wueb54g.
FYI, when you key in the code into Info. Posted January 12, I have a linksys wusb54g whsb54g wireless adapter, and was trying to follow the instructions here to get it to work, with no luck. Or booting with the “-f” flag? I followed BoneFill instructions and nothing hapen. I have installed the second one too with no luck. Appears that I would have to manually load the kext file every time, so I think I’ll go another route for this machine but great to know this can be made to work.
Now I have whsb54g new problem. This thread builds off of it and has a more in depth Tutorial. Posted January 14, Not sure why, but once I did that it started working.

Hi all, I managed to install the driver and it detected the adapter. When i plug in the USB, the network preferences can find the wireless as a new ethernet.
